We are down to the last week of preparation and anticipation for Spring Convention. Having the extra space on the risers is nice and the sound continues to improve. Hope many of you are planning to attend activities the whole weekend and get the full experience of this soon to be renamed Dixie District.
A big thanks to all of you for your patience the last few weeks as we try to settle on a new moniker. We’ll find out what that name is at the Convention. Whatever we may be designated as, we will remain men who enjoy each others’ company, ringing chords together and serving and entertaining this community. Until next week, KTWWS! Steve Grubb
Even though early bird registration has ended you can still get your tickets at the website below. There will be walk up registrations available through Saturday morning.
There will be SIXTEEN quartets singing on Friday night! That's the most we've had in a while! This will include TWO high school quartets from Calhoun, Georgia who sang at Mid-Winter this year. Be sure and be here to support all of our quartets on Friday night! On Saturday there will be seven choruses singing for our District Championship.
I'll send out a separate email with the specifics of the chorus pattern on Saturday.
After a very long process, the House Of Delegates decided that Southeastern Harmony District is the name of our District. Thank you all for walking through this as we've navigated a very difficult journey. I genuinely appreciate all who have been involved in seeking the best for our District! Jimmy Tompkins
