I'm sorry to report that former member Gary Fisher died of pneumonia on Sunday, November 10, in Venice, FL. Gary was an extremely active bass in our chorus from 2005-2014, serving in multiple roles on the Board, writing shows, and generally volunteering for nearly everything.
He started the Chattanooguys quartet (2009, maybe?) and I had the privilege of singing with Gary, Dave Fleury, and Beau Christian until Gary retired to Florida in 2014 where he continued singing with the Gondoliers chorus, though for how long I'm unsure.
Gary had a big laugh and used it as often as possible. He had many stories of his various careers including DJ, wrestling announcer, hospital administrator, and TV producer. He is survived by his wife Marilyn and daughter Sarah, both of whom were with him when he passed. There is a little less harmony in the world without Gary. Wally Edmondson
