2025 is almost upon us! The year we are bidding farewell to was quite successful for our Chorus in many ways.
We continued our practice of singing throughout the greater Chattanooga area, a total of 25 performances by Mr. Wixson’s count! Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day and Naturalization ceremonies allowed us to honor America and its citizens. Quartets were busy all year long singing at various events. Our Christmas Show was at a new venue but still quite successful and allowed us to support Candlelighters again.
Most importantly, we managed to grow our numbers and improve our singing, as evidenced by our achieving Most Improved Chorus awards at both the Spring and Fall conventions.
Let’s enjoy our end of year break and return on January 9th ready to find new venues to perform at, improve our sound and presentation, and enjoy another year of chord busting and harmony both through our singing and with each other. Happy New Year to all and until next year, KTWWS! Steve Grubb, President (Photo by AJ Hanson)
