The Singing Valentines 2023 Story

Singing Valentines 2023 is now in the history books. After a bit of a slow start, things got busier as the BIG DAY approached. There was a big influx of online orders this year, probably due to the advertisement on social media. Hopefully some feedback from the customers will determine that.

There were 5 quartets scurrying around town and beyond to accomplish a total of 73 deliveries on Tues the 14th. That is a number to be proud of although it wasn't a perfect record. There were a couple of missed deliveries due to scheduling conflicts and recipients not being available. Amends have been made for those.

Two belated deliveries were made on Sat the 18th, which were of special nature. One was for a 20th wedding anniversary that actually repeated the date, time and location of the marriage

Singing Valentines 2023 (Cont)

proposal, which included a quartet singing to the couple way back then. The second one was an effort by a family to bring some cheer to a mother who is suffering from brain cancer and had received a bleak prognosis. We know how much we enjoy our hobby, but we may never know how much joy that we bring to others.

A big thank you to the quartets and other individuals that helped with the project. Pete
