If you missed Thursday’s meeting, you missed a really good time. The Chapel was cool and the fellowship flowing. We spent about 20 minutes doing Sectionals (Lead/Tenor & Bari/Bass) on Blue Skies and then spent the rest of the evening with push out and throw together Quartets. Ron Weaver is to be commended for his last minute assignment of working with the 16 guys who were able to attend. Until next week, KTTWS! SteveG
Several members have commented on my report about visiting a bbs chapter in England. Not to repeat the entire visit, or my other visits to chapters in several states, all these visits have been positive experiences. Of course I felt uncomfortable going to a meeting where I didn’t know a soul, but I was always welcomed, participated in warm ups and learning their music, and watching a new director (same stuff Jimmy says.- maybe we should listen to him). So please consider finding and visiting a chapter if you are staying overnight in a distant city. You will have fun. Bill
